EEME Giveaway!

You all know I love doing giveaways!  It is one of the biggest perks of my job!

Today I am thrilled to team up with Jack from EEME to bring you a little fun.

Actually, a lot of fun!

We were first introduced to EEME a while back when I had the opportunity to review their program with The Old Schoolhouse (TOS).  My then 11 year old son enjoyed it so much that I knew we could not stop, so we subscribed to the program.

EEME was started by a dad, Jack, who wanted to make learning fun as well as educational.  His projects are both, trust me.  Simple enough for a middle schooler and up to follow on their own, and yet challenging enough to make them work a little, this projects bring electrical engineering to life.  7-12 year olds will enjoy it as well, with a little adult guidance.

Each video is broken into step by step sections that can paused at any time as well as rewatched.  After several key concepts are introduced a few review questions will pop up on the screen with a drop down menu containing the multiple choice answers.

Here are some pictures from our first lesson-

Here are some from another lesson he did.

Let me assure you that Electrical Engineering is not my thing.  Nor my husband's, really.  But with the all inclusive kits sent and the detailed, but easy to follow videos, you CAN do this.  And they are fun!

Looking for a great birthday present, or a fun project for the summer?  This would be a great place to start!  Jack now has birthday package deals as well!

Jack from EEME has graciously offered to give one of our readers a Project Genius Light kit to try at home!  Just use the rafflecopter below for your chance to win!

You should definitely go check out their FREE virtual project lessons by simply visiting http://eeme.co and signing up to stay-in-touch with new projects and lessons.

Enjoy!

  1. Hardest class? In highschool it was chemistry. In college it was math. I'm thankful that my kids enjoy both science and math and I'm trying to learn alongside them too!

  6. Neat! We're thinking of doing something for a birthday party where we have to put together something really simple to defeat the evil Empire. This might be easy enough. Thanks!

  11. AP Poli-Sci was probably the hardest. Had so much potential, but the teacher was horribly dry and boring.
